Detailed itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive HK
Arrive HK. Your private guide and driver will meet you at airport and transfer to hotel. Rest day is free for jet-leg.

Day 2 : HK B
Today enjoy a half day morning tour of Hong Kong Island . You will visit Victoria Peak for a panoramic view of the city and Stanley Market , famous for bargain shopping. Return along the coast of Repulse Bay and Deep Water Bay to Aberdeen , the floating village for fishermen. Finally, stop at a local jewellery factory near Aberdeen for a chance to look at the art and craftsmanship. Afternoon is free on your own.

Day 3: HK/Guilin B
Free in the morning. Take evening flight to Guilin , whose romantic scenic beauty has inspired centuries of poets and painters. Meet and transfer to hotel.

Day 4: Guilin/Yangshuo B,L
The day begins with a half-day cruise on the meandering, crystalline waters of the Li River . This is one of the most beautiful areas in the whole world, showing the magnificent limestone mountains rising along the river bank. Buffet lunch will be on boat. As the cruise ends, you will disembark in Yangshuo, a quaint village with a very nice street market . You can wonder along the West Street or having a pot of tea in a sidewalk caf¨¦ . Return Guilin . Enjoy the Ethnic Songs and Dances at Lijiang Theatre in the evening.

Day 5: Guilin/Longsheng B,L
Drive in the early morning to Longsheng Multi-minority Autonomous County where Dong, Zhuang, Miao and Yao people live harmoniously together. You will gain an inside glimpse at their unique life style and conventions. The scenery in this area is outstanding with rice terraces cascading down the hillside and stretching in all directions. Drive back to Guilin .

Day 6: Guilin/Chongqing B,L,D
Today's sightseeing tour covers such points as the Fubo Hill , the Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill , as its name implies, it is quite a remarkable example of the hand of nature upon the landscape.

Lunch will be served at Tea Banquet Restaurant (local favor) . Take evening flight to Chongqing . Board the cruise boat after dinner.

Day 7: Yangtze cruise ( Chongqing ¡ªYichang) B,L,D
At 9:00am as the cruise leaves Chongqing , your memorable Yangtze River tour begins. In the afternoon disembark at Fengdu, the " Ghost City " for an excursion . Captain's Welcome Party with Chinese folk dancing and music performance is arranged in the evening.

Day 8: Yangtze cruise B,L,D
You have a morning excursion to White King City . The ship enters the Qutang Gorge , the shortest and grandest of the Three Gorges. After lunch, pass the Wu Gorge with its twelve lofty and misty gorges. Then disembark at Badong for an adventure tour to Shennong Stream , a newly opened unspoiled river with verdant plants, ancient coffins and precious animals. The continue sailing into the western section of Xiling Gorge .

Day 9: Yichang/Wuhan B,L
Disembark at Sandouping for an excursion to the new and still under construction, Three Gorges Dam. Pack your bags and complete check-out procedures before the ship arrives in Yichang at about 10:30 . Our guide will meet you on board. Transfer to Wuhan .

Day 10: Wuhan/Shanghai B,L,D
Take flight to Shanghai , China 's largest city and vibrant commercial heart. You will spend some

time to stroll along the Bund to experience the thrills of old Shanghai and get a fascinating view of the Nanjing Road to see the bright lights of new Shanghai . Then our guide will take you to visit the Xin Tian Di , which is a newly developed recreation area in Shanghai with old styled buildings. Enjoy Portman Acrobatic show after dinner.

Day 11: Shanghai/Huangshan B,L
Today you will visit morning exercise (Tai Chi) of local people in the Bund. Our city tour starts with Yuyuan Garden , formerly a private garden with rookies, pavilions, halls and ponds. And then walk around the Chenghuangmiao Area (old town) , the most-lively place in Shanghai . Lunch will be at Seagull Palace ( Shanghai Cuisine ) beside Huangpu River . Afternoon you visit Shanghai museum, one of the best in China . Take evening flight to Huangshan.

Day 12: Tunxi/Hongcun/Huangshan B,L
Drive to Hongcun Village , which offers a dazzling landscape of rice fields and Classical Ming and Qing architecture, each piece of intricate wood carving or exquisite piece of furniture here is a true sample of a living antique. After lunch, continue drive to Huangshan. Take Yungu Cable car up the mountain. Visit the Cloud Despelling Pavilion , the Flying Over Rock and Bright Summit . Overnight on the mountain.

Day 13: Huangshan/Shanghai B,L
Enjoy the Sunrise , then continue to visit the Lion Peak - the Monkey Gazing at the Sea, the Refresh Terrace ¨C Dreaming Pen in the Flower- The Black Tiger Pine Tree and The Beginging to Believe Peak , then Yungu Cable car down to the foot of Mountain. Take flight back to Shanghai .

Day 14: Shanghai/Xi'an B,L
Take flight to Xi'an , China 's former capital, and gateway to the legendary Silk Road , Upon arrival, meet and transfer to your hotel. Sightseeing today features the ancient city wall , the Big Wild Goose Pagoda . You also have an opportunity to ride bicycle at the top of the wall.

Day 15: Xi'an B,L,SD (special dinner)
Today's highlight is the most spectacular and important places in China : the Archaeological Museum with more than 6000 life-size terra-cotta warriors and horses excavated from the tomb of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty. On the way you will stop at a farm's village to find out how and where they have lived in China , where President Clinton had been to .

Then we will visit Chinese paper cutting.demonstration at Friendship Restaurant, where you will have lunch. Afternoon explore the bustling Muslim Quarter or seek serenity in the grounds of the Grand Mosque . Enjoy Tang Dynasty show with dumpling dinner in the evening..

Day 16: Xi'an/Beijing B,L
Visit Shanxi provincial museum in the morning. Take flight to Beijing , China 's exciting and cultural heart. Afternoon tour visit the Temple of Heaven , where the emperors of the Ming and the Qing Dynasties prayed for good harvests. The temple is not only especially glamorous, it is an architectural wonder because not a single nail was used for its construction.

Day 17: Beijing B,L,D (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
The day begins at Tiananmen Square , the largest City Square in the world. From there you will enter the Forbidden City , a powerful maze of ancient palaces and courtyards from which the emperor ruled the land for 500 years. You will also see the Emperor's clock collection and the Qing Dynasty Jewellery, Robes and Relics collection ( which Westerners rarely see ).

After lunch at local Chinese restaurant, we will take you to the Summer Palace , a vast and beautiful landscape of elegant garden, lakes and pavilions. We'll admire the famous Marble Boat during the visit. Enjoy Chinese Kongfu or Peking Opera show after dinner.

Day 18: Beijing B,L,SD (special dinner)
Today's excursion to the Great Wall (Juyongguan section) of China promise to be a highlights of our travels. We'll have a chance to take a hike along one of the most beautiful sections and learn of its construction 2000 years ago, and examine first-hand one of the most scenic portions of its 3700 miles length. Visit the workshops of a cloisonne factory to see workers practice this unique art.

After lunch, we will visit Ming Tombs , including the Sacred Way and the Ding Ling Museum . You will be able to enter one of the tombs. In the Ding Ling Museum you can see artefacts and replicas from the tomb itself. The Peking Duck banquet will be arranged at famous Duck King Restaurant.

Day 19: Beijing B,L
This morning you will take trishaw into Hutong , which is an ancient city alley, to experience the life of the local people . Visit the old quadrangles inhabited by Beijing residents. Tour in the Prince Gong's Palace and have a cup of tea. You also have an opportunity to visit a local family and chat with local people . If you like you can learn how to make Jiaozi (Chinese traditional dumpling) and have lunch with local people.

Then you will be taken to famous Silk Market ( clothes market ) or Hongqiao Market (pearl market), which are where the Beijingers shop. Here, you can find many incredible deals on things, if you know what you are looking for and you know how to bargain.

Day 20: Leave Beijing B
Departure transfer to airport. Fly for home
